Exploding out of Inverclyde is Blood Emperor, consisting of lead singer Gary Dresh aka Gash, drummer Steven McLean aka Stiv, guitarist Ryan Hendry aka Rydo and bassist Ewan Kelly. Blood Emperor is the latest Death/Thrash metal band to grace our ears and rock to the standard that would make more established metal bands bow down in appreciation. - Gary M. And out came blood emperor with there hard thumping death metal riffs, solid drumming and brutal vocals, this is the first time I have saw this band, loved the way they sound, just a nice blend of death/thrash, the pursuit of Vikings cover was spot on. This is a band I can see going places in the near future, keep a look out for blood emperor. - Greg Hamilton 22nd August White 52 Well...if you survived the mosh pits, the broken arms, and the phone calls to come home by scared parents, it was Blood Emperor that came forth into the darkness to round off the night... A no holds bared set by the piped wizzards... The front man envoked some mental sh*t on the dance floor to extream proportions!! If you were left standing at the end of night with just swet on you, you were a lucky person! Lead singer of Yag Backwards then joined in with Blood Emperor for a nice duet of sorts that got all the people going.... Nice riffs on guitar from the hard man of mexico, a topless bass player that makes you kiss his "instrument", a front man from hell burned at youth - He is my brother you know fans!!! and a topless drummer called stiv, that was drunk, but played his little heart to take first place in the clubs swetiest man competion! - Alan Ross Van Downie After a good solid hard working year writing music and doing alot of local gigs Blood Emperor are set to record their new album which should be out summer 2006. All the bands hard work has paid off this year with all the respect from the large amount of fans in Inverclyde! With gigs been so energetic the fans keep coming back for more! Blood Emperor are a Death/Thrash Metal and have already made a good name for them selfs with promoters and Record Companies.
