Stefano Gualano, artist name "STEFANO", was born in Venice on October 29th 1967. He was interested in music already as a child and started to play guitar at the age of 10. In the year 1984 he decided to leave his home country to find a new world of opportunities and a new chance to present his musical talent to a new audience. Stefano composes, writes the lyrics and interprets his songs all by himself. This is how he managed to perform in numerous of the most important music pubs in Austria`s capitol Vienna. There he has been offered to record his debut single by the "MUSICA Schallplatten Vertrieb" publishing company. This opened the possibility to perform with many world known musicians. With some of them he started his first tour in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. In the meantime STEFANO has founded his own band called "STEFANO AND BAND". With this band he played a lot of gigs and worked also on interesting recording projects in cooperation with a number of other musicians as well. This period in his career has been enriched by composing and writing lyrics also for other famous artists. With his melodious songs STEFANO has taken part on many musical festivals in Italy and often has been honoured by a high evaluation also his due to his warm and very typical colour of voice. In the year 1996 STEFANO has attempted a slight change of musical image and started to get orientated more and more to rock arrangements. 1998 he recorded his single "I`m just you" which has been a huge success in the Italian hit parade. In the beginning of 2003 STEFANO comes back on the scene and starts to write songs again. In the end of 2004 the album "Dimmi Chi Sei" has been released. Now STEFANO is working on the new CD "You and Me" which will be released 2007.
